I always had a thing for gargoyles. I never knew what they were for.
Then, I found out. it seems they're a representation of demons, OUTSIDE the church..symbolizing the evil in the world.
For salvation, the people have to go indoors, for safety from the monsters.
This is why you never see gargoyles INSIDE a church.
Now, when it comes to businesses, they seem to have the wrong idea. They need to reverse this, and put the gargoyles INSIDE the business premises.
Makes sense to me.
