Over Spray
Pavement, California artist, Jean-Paul St. Pierre, has got a great photo blog idea. He takes pictures of an artwork as it changes over time.
Check out Over Spray and see the evolution of image.
J.P. tells me there's been a lot of 'back to basics' in surfboard art - he's 2nd generation board maker.
Wouldn't you love to surf on a work of art? Doesn't get much better than that!

Great idea, very interesting...Bill you need to start one of these out there somewhere in the wilds of Toronto.
I dunno, Cine.
I gots lot on plate right now with this Art Slob thing, Gallery Crawl, a 'Circle' public art thing I want to sell to the city and a complex business plan to boot.
Painting over the same canvas every day or so, I leave to others.
How 'bout you?
Hmmmm will have to do some scouting...stay tuned.....
That is my Dad's piece of cardboard that he uses to test his airbrush before he sprays a board or pinlines it. He also does hand dagger brush pinlines. I get behind on updating that blog but I try to take a photo everyday at 5 pm. We will start a new one after a year.
If you visit surfysurfy.blogspot.com you can check out some the boards we make.
Surfboards, the last custom craft left in the USA?
Thanks for including us on your blog man!
That's great stuff, J.P.
Keep living the dream for the rest of us. I like how you're getting it out there. Seems you've harnessed the power of blog for your life.
