Over Spray

Pavement, California artist, Jean-Paul St. Pierre, has got a great photo blog idea. He takes pictures of an artwork as it changes over time.

Check out Over Spray and see the evolution of image.

J.P. tells me there's been a lot of 'back to basics' in surfboard art - he's 2nd generation board maker.

Wouldn't you love to surf on a work of art? Doesn't get much better than that!

I dunno, Cine.

I gots lot on plate right now with this Art Slob thing, Gallery Crawl, a 'Circle' public art thing I want to sell to the city and a complex business plan to boot.

Painting over the same canvas every day or so, I leave to others.

How 'bout you?

That is my Dad's piece of cardboard that he uses to test his airbrush before he sprays a board or pinlines it. He also does hand dagger brush pinlines. I get behind on updating that blog but I try to take a photo everyday at 5 pm. We will start a new one after a year.
If you visit surfysurfy.blogspot.com you can check out some the boards we make.
Surfboards, the last custom craft left in the USA?

Thanks for including us on your blog man!
