Improv Everywhere

What do you get when you cross the Internet with Improv?

Improv Every where is some nutty performance art scheme getting a bunch of people to do things in public we used to assign to the Village Idiot.

The picture at right is from the 'Suicide Jumper' performance. Okay, I admit threatening to jump off a 4 foot ledge is funny. Jump!!!

*Sigh* After every such display of artistic intent I always ask the same question: "Yes, but is it art?"

Well, obviously it is because they say it is.

I kind of like the idea, what disturbs me are the photos of people with very concerned looks on their faces!

They'd be the first ones against the wall. I guess they're thinking, "There but by the Grace of God go I."

Is the position of "Village Idiot" already filled? I have impecable credentials...

Good to see you're "back in the groove", Mr. Bill...I'll take one nudity...and one smeared in clay "to go".

...and, oh yeah, if I were not Alexander the Great...ah, you know the rest, you big lug!

I'm covered in grooves.

Seems art-related stuff orbits my life these days with little room for other enthusiasms. Hope AS an GC isn't becoming worky.

The fun part for me is really reading what other people have to say on the blog topics. The back and forth of good conversation - and the subtle charms of interesting women - is the music and fragrance of my life.

You're the only man I know who can talk about the "fragrance" of his life, and PULL IT OFF!!!

(raised glass of BC red - followed by gentle sobbing)

Rented Goddard - "Masculin Feminin" (at least I think it was Godard...) any hints at future rentals in that vein appreciated....

Then permit me, Rob, to greet you at the beginning of a wonderful adventure.

I raise a spoonful of cream soup to your West and new hope.

French Films?

'Time Out' film guide has a solid 100 best ever film list. Any Criterion Collection film is very good.

I watched this one film called 'Le Samourai' and was inspired to write the title on Skipper's wall in permanent ink. So, that one's pretty good.

Goddard's 'Alphaville' may just blow your mind. A one-way ticket.

Mountain Child...who dat?

How goes life in The Borg?

If you would like to learn more about the human previously known as Mountain Child, you can check out his blog at www.topsuperstar.blogspot.com, or ask your local librarian for more information.

Or simply get drunk and scream obscenities into the night...they both work for me.
