Dundas Conservation Area

Visited the Dundas, Ontario Conservation Area this Sunday with some friends. Nice to get out of the city and be in nature again.

Here's a few photos taken along the trail.

Amazing pics, Mr. Bill.

Thos old giant, moss-covered limestone rocks really bring back some memories.

I agree, you took some beautiful images there. I'm curious about the building ruins -- was it a residence or something?

It's a 'hermitage' built by some Scotsman named Brown in the mid-1800s. They've preserved it as best they can as an historic site within the conservation area. Good thinking. Neat to see.

By hermitage, I guess that means it's a remote, get-away-from-it-all thing. Fantastic location.
