I like how each city has its own lay out.

I haven't done the dense London Underground, but I have travelled on the Paris Metro quite a bit. It's such a tight webwork, you really can live in that city and walk to any metro station in a few minutes. Makes the place less poluted from car exhaust, less dangerous, less anxious, less noisy, fewer parking garages....

I remember the guys who would come onto a metro car and play the traditional accordian songs. There were some magic moments, looking out at Paris from the metro elevated track sections with the soft accordian playing bitter sweet songs of lost love.

It may have its problems, but Paris ain't bad at all.
