Time to smash them all in a Barney-like fit of creative rage, then reassemble without thinking (preferably to bongo drum, village being driven to a frenzy, intensity).
Wish I could smash them all, but they're all the same canvas (stretching back a couple of months). Funny how they all exist separately in the virtual universe.
I do like having them there to show how a phoney artist like me wanders around without direction - how crappy I can get.
I remember one time in Vancouver I had all of these plaster sculpture models on my bedroom worktable. They were all suddenly trash in my eyes, holding back future growth.
So, I grabbed a hammer and started smashing every one of them in a frenzy (the bongos were in my head that time). I was 3/4 the way through them when Daddy-o rushed up the stairs from his room and stood in the doorway.
"What's goin' on?", he asked. I didn't think anyone else was at home.
"I'm smashing the sculptures. They're no good."
"Oh...", replied Daddy-o, "I thought something was wrong", and he went back downstairs.
I went back to smashing the sculptures. It was a good day.
Maybe you should video yourself creating then destroying your various works - a sort of cycle of life deal...then put it on a continuous loop. You could start a new blog Art Destructor...
Another great idea from the mind of Rob McCleary. That one's all yours, pal. Creative acts are simultaneously acts of destruction pf a sort, I believe. Can't explain why I feel that exactly....
The 'endless loop' part of your idea is the cherry on top.
Creation/destruction is one of the themes I guess I recognize in some of the things I do. Yeah, cycle of life. Good to think about from time to time.

I've completely lost it with this painting.
Out of control. Some gal stepped up on the porch where I paint and said "blue and green". This is what happened. I painted to her bongo playing.
No idea what's going on with this. Maybe I should just paint a centaur like I wanted to in the first place.
Glad I don't take this stuff seriously, or I might be upset now, having done 30 different versions on this canvas.
Gotta laugh.
